Alarms
A house alarm or home security system is a set of electronic devices that are designed to detect intrusion, fire, or other hazards in your home. A typical house alarm system may include sensors such as door and window contacts, motion detectors, glass break sensors, smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, and alarm panels. When an intruder breaks in or a sensor detects a hazard, the alarm system sends a signal to a central monitoring station or to the homeowner’s smartphone, alerting them to the danger. Depending on the system, the homeowner may be able to arm and disarm the system remotely or request emergency assistance. Some modern house alarm systems also include home automation features such as smart thermostats, lighting control, and remote access to security cameras. Installation of a house alarm system may involve professional installation, DIY installation, or a combination of the two. When choosing a system, homeowners should consider their budget, the level of security they require, and any integration with other home automation systems they may have in place. House alarms and home security systems can provide peace of mind and protection for homeowners and their families, helping to deter burglars and alert residents to potential hazards in the home.

CCTV Cameras
Close circuit television has proven to be one of the most efficient and effective security systems to date. Empowering the end user client to go back on footage and ensure their security has visual proof of any crime suspected. CCTV stands for Closed Circuit Television, which is a system of video cameras used to transmit signals to a specific place or limited set of monitors. It is used primarily for surveillance and security purposes. CCTV systems consist of several components, including cameras, monitors, recording devices, and sometimes internet protocol (IP) networks. The cameras can be fixed or pan-tilt-zoom (PTZ), depending on the level of control required for the video feed. The images captured by the cameras can be viewed on monitors or recorded for later playback. Depending on the system, the recorded video may be stored on hard drives, digital video recorders (DVRs), or network video recorders (NVRs). CCTV systems are commonly used in Public spaces such as Banks, Airports, and Shopping centers, as well as in private settings like Homes and Businesses. Their use has been shown to deter criminal activity and provide evidence in the case of a crime.
Electric & Perimeter Fencing
Electric fencing is a type of fencing that uses electrical charges to deter undesired entry from intruders. Electric fences consist of several components, including a power source, energizer, insulators, conductors, and grounding system. The power source can be solar, battery, or mains powered, and it provides the electrical charge to the fence. The energizer is the heart of the electric fence. It uses the power source to send a high voltage, low amperage pulse of electricity along the fence wire. The pulse is quick and harmless, but it is enough to give an intruder a shock. It is important to note that electric fencing can be dangerous if not installed and maintained properly. It is recommended that anyone considering installing an electric fence consult with a professional to ensure proper design and installation. At CSI Security we have extensive experience with Electric fencing installations and perimeter protection.
Access Control
Access control is a security mechanism used to restrict or grant access to individuals or entities to specific resources such as physical spaces, computer systems, sensitive data, or network connections. It ensures that only authorized individuals have access to specific resources and data, and prevents unauthorized access by implementing security policies and procedures.
Access control can be physical or logical, and can involve the use of technologies such as biometric identification, smart cards, passwords, or access codes. Magnetic lock systems with entry/exit control and a z/l bracket auto close door arm also connected to a battery back up power supply unit for added security.
